We headed to the beach for a few days with out good friends and we had lots of fun. Lots of crazy too with 4 little girls running around. My kiddos are such water babies it's nuts! The first night we got there we headed down to the beach with out clothes saying we would just play in the sand. That quickly turned into taking clothes off...

Monday-4 miles easy
Tuesday-Just under 5 miles on the track, 4x200 (:47, :46, :45, :45), 4x400 (1:31, 1:31, 1:32, 1:34)
Wednesday-4 mile bike (flat tire), 1.75 mile hard run at 7:05 pace
Thursday-3 hours of gardening work :)
Friday- 2000yd swim, 13 mile bike
Saturday- 44 min run (beach)
Sunday- 1 hour run (beach)
Total:
Run: CLose to 23 miles
Bike: 17 miles
Swim: 2000yds
I had driven out to the triathlon course to ride the course the day I got my flat tire. Was a bit bummed as I did have a spare. But luckily I had only ridden two miles out and wasn't too far from the car.

My Two Crazy Kids
We've been chugging along and I have some random photos of the girls from our days. I've been trying to take more photos of them which I think I am doing pretty good at. We had a yard sale a week ago and the kids had fun going through old things.

Strawberry Farm
We (P and I) took an outing to go pick strawberries with our friends since they are just in season and had tons of fun. We picked tons of strawberries. P had a great time and enjoyed the adventure followed by eating homemade strawberry ice cream at the farm.

Tuesday- 5 miles with 4x1/2 mile intervals (3:20, 3:27, 3:28, 3:29), weights and abs
Wed- 7 mile run with JF (8:25 average)
Thursday- 25 mile bike (15.1 mph)
Friday- 2000 yds swim
Sat- Off
Sun- 23 mile bike with 6x1-1.5 mile hard efforts in the aerobars followed by 1.25 mile hard run off the bike, weights and abs
Total: Swim: 2000yds
Bike: 48 miles
Run: 17.25 miles
Swimming is just not going well. I feel pretty nauseous and dizzy most days when I swim. Not sure what this is from...getting older, the flipturns. Not sure. My Thursday bike ride was awful and tiring. But the Sunday ride was much better and I was able to feel a bit better on the bike then I have been.

Slip n Slide Fun
We had an impromptu slip n slide outing at our neighbors the other day. Lots of fun was had. P has no fear of anything and thought it was awesome and T warmed up to the idea eventually and had fun too! T had to get pushed down the slide but P would run at full speed and just go!

Nothing too exciting this week. Rode my bike on the trainer on the screened in porch, pushing my gear ever 10-15 min. My swim workout was a bit better, did 2x200 on the 3:00, and swam them in 2:29, 2:34. I also at the end of the workout did a 100 hard and manage to swim 1:10. Eh. Making progress I guess.
I have decided that there is no flat place near my house to ride my bike. This has made for hard rides.

A few random photos of the girls. The weather is turning warmer which is nice. But I know it won't be too long and it will be hot! Classes are over and I'm getting ready for a rather laid back summer which will be nice. While I have things I have to do, nothing seems overwhelming this summer!
