Oh Pinterest

I joined Pinterest a few months ago. I have found lots of really good food recipes on there that I have made and really liked. And I tried my hand at a couple crafty things. Yikes. Me and crafts typically don't do well together. I made the leg warmers for T, and then I made a tutu for P (it will be a xmas gift) and then I decided to try and make this felt Christmas tree with felt ornaments and presents that she can play with on the wall. It took a lot longer than I though, but in the end it turned out pretty good and P likes it, which is really all that matters!

New Hairstyles

I've started putting P's hair in pigtails or a single pony tail or she will wear a headband occasionally. Lots of fun hairstyles for her. Her hair is so long now and I keep thinking how I probably should get it trimmed a bit or something (she's never had a haircut). But for now, I enjoy seeing her look so much more grown up with the new hairstyles! Most of these are at the park one day with her hair in one single ponytail.

T on the scooter

I came home the other day from work and EZ was outside with the girls. P was on her bike and he had T on our scooter. She looks so funny riding it and I had to take a few pictures!  I of course kind of freaked out that she might fall off.

Fun Pictures

Lots of shenanigans going on around here....our nightly ritual of drinking our milk together:

Playing the piano together:

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit and P had so much fun! Getting her to smile for pictures was another story

And I just couldn't help but laugh at her face in this one!
 I have new santa pj's!

T 8 Months

T turned 8 months old last week. She seems like she if finally chunking up a little bit and looking a little bit older and not quite as babyish. She is still smaller than P as she still fits fine in 6 month clothes. I know we had already switched to 9mo stuff with P by this point. Just last weekend we decided to drop a bottle and give her a little more milk in each bottle so that her bottles now are 4 hours apart during the day. We are still mixing breastmilk from the freezer and formula but we will probably run out of breastmilk in the next two weeks.

She is starting to spit up less (yeah) but is still a massive drooler and still no teeth. I should go back and see when P got hers but I remember it did take a while and she only then had 2 teeth for quite some time. She loves to eat food and thinks puffs are the best thing ever (even though she still can't grab them that good to put into her mouth).

And she has started walking a little more around furniture. Not much, but definitely is starting to think about moving along the couch or chairs or something. She can walk with a "walker" type toy but I am not pushing that at all so that she stays a little less mobile. :)   We had to put our baby gate back up at the bottom of the stairs because she can climb them and thinks thats what she should be doing.

She absolutely loves P. And crawls after her and likes to take her toys or do whatever it is P is doing. It is quite fun.

Children's Museum

A new childrens museum opened up near by and P and I headed over there for a few hours a couple weeks ago. She had fun and I thought it had a good mix of stuff to do. Great for cold (or super hot) and rainy days.

We met up with some friends and this is P and one of her good buddies C leaving the museum. They have known eachother since they were a couple months old when they started daycare together.

Thanksgiving

We headed up to my grandmas (GiGi's) for Thanksgiving last week.  It was nice to see my grandma and my aunts and uncles. Both kiddos behaved really well and P had a ton of fun blowing bubbles and playing in the leaves. I am so thankful for my family, for two beautiful children and a wonderful husband.
