I tried my attempt at running outside today since it was so nice out. I walked for 10 min pretty fast to warm up and then ran 1 1/2 miles at 9:00min/mile pace! Maybe it is just that treadmill but it was nice to know that I am not too terribly slow...yet.
Hopefully the weather cooperates and I will be able to amp up to the 20-30 min mark.
Oh, and today my coworker said that I had a nice baby bump and was looking preggers. It is too early!!! At this rate I will be huge come July!

I'm sure you look great! Keep up the running, you really will start to feel better!
at 14 weeks i was using a rubber band on my pants! i soon switched to maternity pants after that! :) i can't believe how the weight just comes on!!! glad that you're feeling so well!
Oh, girl, don't worry about it. It's b/c you're a skinny person that people who know you can see the evidence of the pregnancy already. Besides, weight gain over the 9 months doesn't proceed like a simple linear equation so you can't extrapolate total weight gain based on 14 weeks. There are periods of more weight gain, some weight gain and periods of no weight gain. Exactly when that happens varies by the woman and by the pregnancy.
Besides, I bet I was way bigger than you at this stage.
Picture! I am sure you baby bump is exactly where it should be and super cute. Plus didn't you just write that you are still running! You are doing great.
Just keep running, just keep running, just keep running (sung in my best Dorrie the fish voice), it definitely gets easier. I checked our blog and my post at about 16 weeks talks about rubber bands and safety pins to make pants fit. And by the way - when you mention you have a pooch you better be posting pix!
